Ghazal Tavakoli born on August 3, 1999, is a dynamic director and writer hailing from Tehran, Iran. She embarked on her artistic journey by delving into the realm of theater, earning her degree in Theater Studies from Tehran.

Ghazal Tavakoli began her studies in 2017 and soon embarked on a project titled "Subject to the Laws of Iran," which was featured in the Sooreh Festival that same year. In addition to her academic pursuits, she showcased her talent as an actress in numerous theater productions. Her passion for theater led her to create a new play, "Wimbledon," which garnered nominations and accolades at the 23rd University Students Festival. Following this success, Tavakoli ventured into the world of cinema, taking on roles in several short films.

She also completed multiple screenplays. In 2022, Tavakoli made a decisive move to focus on the film industry, where she has since written, directed, and produced two short films: "Post Card" in 2023, and "In Few Words" in 2024

Initiating her artistic endeavors in 1396 (2017), Ghazal has since been an active participant in the world of theater. Her creative pursuits led her to Amsterdam, where she currently resides and continues to contribute to the art scene.
